Why take a staycation?
There’s plenty to see and do in the UK as an alternative to airport stress, Covid restrictions, jet lag and foreign exchange rates: amazing countryside and walks, local pubs with great food, festivals and events, and towns and villages to explore – and all with less travelling so your holiday starts sooner. And it’s easier to take a number of short staycation breaks so it seems like you are getting more holiday.
Stunning countryside and walks
Woodlands, Malvern B&B is very close to the border of Worcestershire and Herefordshire. Enjoy the views in and around this designated area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) of, and from, the Malvern Hills; the Suckley Hills; Halesend Wood (a designated site of special scientific interest) immediately adjacent to our B&B; and, a little further afield, the Wye Valley AONB.
And in this video of his walk from Eastnor in Herefordshire, through Ledbury, to Pinnacle Hill in the Malvern Hills, Patrick Leach, in his charmingly engaging way, demonstrates some of the many wonderful things to experience in this locale: there are some magnificent things to see in the UK as well as abroad.
