Terms & Policies

Reservation Policy:

Our tariff for each room is £150 for a single night, including breakfast, but discounted to £130 for each night for bookings of two or more nights.

You can book on our website here and pay by Visa or Mastercard credit or debit card.

We ask for full payment at the time of booking. We will send a separate card payment request if we have provided you with evening cold-platter meals.

Cancellation Policy:

If you have to cancel more than seven days before arrival we will fully refund your payment less 3% + 40p to cover the transaction fees we are charged by our card payments processor, Stripe.

If you cancel less than seven days before arrival we will only refund 50% of your payment unless we can secure another booking in which case we will refund 100% (less 3% + 40p).

In the event of a no show or booking reduction (on or after the arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.

We recommend that you consider taking out insurance cover for likely eventualities.

Check-in and check-out

Unless otherwise agreed in advance, we ask you to check in by 7pm (other than by prior arrangement) and not earlier than 3pm. We ask you to check out by 11am unless otherwise agreed.

Food allergies

If you have any food allergies, please let us know in advance.

The food allergy chart at the end of the Food and Drink section of our website shows which allergens may be in the food that we normally provide. The daily menu on the breakfast table and in your room will also set out any allergens likely to be present.

Smoking 

We ask you not to smoke anywhere in our house or on our property. If there is any evidence that a guest may have been smoking we will charge up to £120 to cover the cost of deep cleaning.

Damage, breakages and loss 

We will charge the full cost we incur for the restoration or replacement of any items damaged, broken or lost. This may include the replacement of related items where the damaged, broken or lost item is part of a set which cannot be restored individually (for example, but not limited to, furniture, keys and locks)
